Quartz is roughly nine parts ground stone to one part polymer resin, and that resin is why quartz repairs are not the same job as granite repairs. Send photos of the chip, crack or burn mark and we will tell you what can be made to disappear, what can be made better, and what cannot be fixed.

Why quartz repairs are different
Engineered quartz is ground natural quartz held together with a polymer resin. The stone part is extremely hard. The resin part is not, and it is the resin that decides what a repair can do.
That is why a technique that restores granite can ruin quartz. Aggressive mechanical polishing generates heat, and heat is exactly what the resin cannot take. A chip in quartz is filled and colour matched rather than polished out.
What we can usually fix
Chips on an edge or a sink cutout. Filled with a colour matched resin, shaped and levelled. On a busy pattern the repair is usually very hard to find. On a plain white slab it is honest to say you may still know where it is.
Cracks at a cooktop or sink corner. These usually start where the slab is narrowest. We stabilise and fill them, and we tell you whether the cause was the cutout, the support underneath, or movement in the cabinet.
Open or lipped seams. Cleaned out and re-run with a colour matched adhesive.
Dull patches from the wrong cleaner. Often recoverable.
What we will tell you honestly
Heat damage is the hard one. A hot pan sets the resin off and the discolouration is in the material, not on it. It can sometimes be improved. It usually cannot be erased. Anyone who promises you otherwise has not done many of them.
Quartz also does not need sealing. If someone sold you a quartz sealing service, you paid for nothing. Quartz is non porous.
